The client was a major manufacturing company specializing in flour-based confectionery and sweet products. The enterprise maintains a wide product range requiring complex multi-level quality control and shelf life management. The project's main objective was complete automation of business processes to eliminate chaos in perishable raw material accounting, prevent production deadline failures, and stop theft. The catalyst for change was uncontrolled cost growth: outdated accounting methods prevented accurate monitoring of the current situation in warehouses and production facilities. Management needed a transparent tool capable of consolidating disparate data from multiple legal entities at one location into a unified information environment.

Client Request: Chaos in Raw Material Accounting and Rising Defect Rates

Production timelines and material consumption were spiraling out of control. Due to the perishable nature of components, procurement required high speed, but production lines constantly lacked ingredients. The problem was solved by violating recipes, which led to quality degradation. Additionally, process opacity created ideal conditions for corruption and theft among personnel to flourish.

Solution: Development of a Comprehensive ERP System in 9 Months

A team of seven specialists, including a representative from the production side, designed an architecture divided into three key modules: warehouse accounting, production, and sales. We implemented end-to-end control from procurement to finished product shipment. The methodology included creating a unified audit event log and configuring a role-based access model to prevent unauthorized actions.

Tech Stack: PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, React, Vite

This technology stack ensured high web application performance and reliable data storage. The server side built on a modern framework allowed flexible REST API configuration and complex logic for separate accounting by organization. The client side guarantees instant interface response when working with dashboards and registries, providing real-time figures without page reloads.

Impact: 4x Reduction in Costs and Production Defects

Implementation of end-to-end digital control reduced costs by 75% and optimized perishable raw material procurement. Complete real-time monitoring of all production stages was achieved. Strict ingredient accounting forced personnel to strictly comply with standards and recipes, which dramatically improved product taste qualities. The system completely eliminated opportunities for theft and shadow schemes.

Future Plans - AI Integration and Dynamic Pricing

Link all resources and materials to current supplier prices for automatic real-time calculation of actual costs. We are also preparing an artificial intelligence-based module for deep analysis of production line utilization charts, which will enable more accurate volume planning and securing more contracts.
